So my husband asked yesterday, what would he wear with a kilt? For those who know my husband, he does not like to get too much attention and likes to stay in the back ground. For him to ask is very out of the norm. I have thrown together a kilt, vest and shirt we already had, he is using our daughters kilt from several years ago, a shirt and vest we already use, just ordered a new pair of boots., will post pictures of the full outfit later.

So to dress down from my usual noble garb I made a linen peasant dress

I finished the 1874 gown and wore it to the Pink Tea at the Nevada Governors Mansion

I also was working on a pirate outfit for my husband, with the help from my friend Jennie who sewed the trim.

 

I helped my daughter with her renaissance dress

Made my own Pirate coat

Made my mom this outfit and showed Jennie how to make hers

Designed this one for my mom

Made a couple of bustles

 

This was all the costumes for 2013, the rest of the year was all about family

my daughter joined the Navy and we went to her boot camp graduation

Lost my grandfather

My granddaughter met her great uncle

Took a cruise with my husband

Kaity came home for a Christmas visit, made my sister cry
