So I have been busy with getting ready for the new grandbaby, working on 2 different gowns, balancing deadlines.
Grandbaby will be here tomorrow morning, via c section, will be a couple of busy weeks helping out the new mom.
Blue gown deadline for completion is August 2nd. Red gown completion date August 15th.

I have been making progress on the red gown, bodice is now completed, trim sewn on by hand, side lacing:

I made a camica

underskirt

a zimballino, still working on the details

been working on a feather fan
made a beaded girdle

and sleeves

only thing missing is a hat, maybe I can get started on that soon.
